Enrique Alonso is currently Executive Vice President with SJP Properties in New York City, where he is responsible for the firm’s operations and business development, including sourcing and financing residential and commercial investment and development opportunities. Mr. Alonso also directs SJP’s alternative investments in order to diversify the principal’s capital in venture areas outside of SJP’s core business. Mr. Alonso is on the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), where he charts the organization’s activities and policies, and advises on key issues that concern the industry and its constituents. Prior to joining SJP, Mr. Alonso was as an executive in CBRE’s Global Corporate Services group, where he advised clients on their global real estate strategies, including leasing, divestitures and acquisitions. Mr. Alonso also previously served as a Management Consultant with Bain and Company, one of the world’s leading business consulting firms, as well as a Business Development Director with the National Basketball Association. He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and B.A. from Amherst College.
